William Anthony Dean and Robert Schwendel

Our joint honorees Rob Schwendel and Tony Dean have been partners in business and philanthropy for many years – in fact a combined 36 years in real estate as associate broker and agents respectively, 25 years in property management and 25 years in combined efforts raising money for cancer research. William Anthony Dean and Robert Schwendel created Real Estate A-Team to support new agents at the start of their careers. The A-Team wants to give back to others, just as so many people helped them in the past. Both Rob and Tony have had many family and friends fight cancer and wanted to help! Together they run a 501c3 called Pink Cans 4 Cancer which gathers funds from recycling operations all over NYC and Long Island. Since inception, including prior fundraising activities, Rob and Tony have raised over $1MM for cancer research and related causes. In all their business endeavors, they make sure they live by a “give back” philosophy and are always intertwining their business activities and ventures with either their NFP or others. They are involved in many networking and social circles and have a far reach into Long Island business. Together they work in residential real estate via Exit Realty Premier out of Massapequa, NY and have bought and sold hundreds of homes with their clients in the Long Island market over the last two decades.

Rob has been married to his wife Casey for 6yrs and live in Levittown, NY with their 2 children – son Cameron (4) and daughter Brooke (1); and Tony has been married 11yrs to his wife Kamille and they live in East Meadow, NY with their 2 children – son Joseph (9) and daughter Mackenzie (7). Both are excellent and devoted fathers and family men and work hard to balance work and home life.

At this, the LIE’s 20th Anniversary Gala, we are honoring Rob and Tony for their tireless work for cancer research in our community, coupled with all their other team work to round out their professional lives.
